From the Director

Welcome students, parents, and staff to Interplay's 2014-2015 season--September 2014 marks the beginning of our 31st year in operation. With the completion of a very successful summer school and students making great progress, I am busy planning our 2014-2015 dance school year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and I look forward to the start of fall classes and to a successful year.

Registrations for fall classes are still being accepted and can be faxed, mailed, or come to the office to register during office hours.

One of the biggest, exciting changes that occurred in the past season was the addition of an enhanced intensive program to provide even more intensive training to the increased number of serious dance students who wish to pursue a career in dance, and who express an interest in a pre-professional dance program. This program benefits our talented, serious dance students who wish to increase their level of dance instruction with a more individualized schedule. Interplay also offers boys ballet coaching, under the direction of John Ottman.

Through our pre-professional intensive, enhanced, and boys programs, our company and competitive performance opportunities, and our summer dance camps, Interplay has experienced much success, as demonstrated by the achievements of our students throughout the year. I hope to continue to develop these programs and to help all of our students reach their dance goals, whether for recreational enjoyment or professional pursuits.
